Our formula centers around non-nano zinc oxide, a mineral UV-filter ingredient commonly used in mineral sunscreens.

Instead of a lightweight lotion, this is a rich, balm-style formula made with nourishing tallow, shea butter, coconut oil, and botanical oils that help keep the skin feeling moisturized and conditioned.

⚪ Non-Nano Zinc Oxide

Zinc oxide is the mineral ingredient at the heart of this sun cream.

When properly formulated and tested in a sunscreen, zinc oxide works as a mineral UV filter, helping protect skin from ultraviolet radiation.

The term non-nano refers to the particle size of the zinc oxide used in the formula.

Because the actual sun-protection level depends on the complete finished formulation, application amount, and testing, we do not assign an SPF number unless the finished product has been properly tested.
